Each time a new Bluetooth headset comes onto the market it gets smaller and smaller and more technological, so does Motorola’s H375 Bluetooth headset stand out from all the other headsets?
Motorola’s H375 is all about communicating and is pitched at those people who require a simple Bluetooth headset for those hands free calls, and is of a size that is practical as if Motorola had made it any smaller it would have been a tad fiddly.
Open the box and you will find a choice of two ear cushions than when placed with the ear loop means the user should be able to find a comfortable option which suits them. The H357’s ear loop is removable and can be reversed for the left and right ear depending on personal preference. The H357’s ear loop may irritate some people but its use does mean the user isn’t simply relying on friction to keep it in place.

The Motorola H357 headset’s design is a simple one yet looks fashionable and isn’t too over technical so shouldn’t be too hard to come to terms with as it does exactly as it says on the packaging. Pairing the H357 with your mobile phone as with most headsets these days is fairly straightforward, and once that is done the user will need to decode the selection of light flashes and button presses, which the H357 comes with a 188 page manual so should be too difficult to do as only 10 pages are actually in English.
All control of the Motorola H357 headset is centred round the call button which is easy to use and doesn’t rely on your paired mobile phone setup. There are two more buttons to do with the control over the volume to make sure your ear doesn’t receive an audible bashing.
The H357 incorporates one feature that some rival Bluetooth headsets don’t and that’s a standard miniUSB connector for powering the headset, so take an extra charger along with you so you are always prepared. The H357’s battery allows for up to six hours of talk time so should see you through most of the day before requiring charging. To sum up, the Motorola H357 Bluetooth headset is an all round solid performer that one expects coming out of Motorola.

It’s always nice to see a video about the new mobile in the making, somehow a video is so much more than just reading about a handset, and such a video is doing the rounds of the mobile phone interblogs at the moment, and one that showcases not one but two new Sony Ericsson mobile phones.
It is however, unclear just what Sony Ericsson models are shown in the video, nor is it known if they are simply prototypes or real production versions, although one does resemble certain similarities to the upcoming X1.

One thing that does stand out is that Sony Ericsson is definitely pushing the convergence line on their new mobile phones, and making sure they highlight loads of data sharing, multimedia and what looks to be a very familiar chat application.

That’s about it for these new Sony Ericsson mobile phones, detail is somewhat invisible with the exception of this video, which although a real good video doesn’t tell you anything. So I guess Sony Ericsson just want to keep everyone guessing until they are ready to announce these officially.
Anyway take a look at the video I’m sure you’ll enjoy the display, and maybe you can guess at which two mobile phones Sony Ericsson are offering up soon. If you do then drop us a line and let us know what you think they are. And if you do then maybe Sony Ericsson might enlighten us all sometime soon with a little announcement to run alongside this video.

Greystripe, advertising supported mobile games distributor has announced their deal with Sega to bring three classic Sega game titles to the mobile arena via its Catalogue Platform partners. Apparently, Sega is to monetize their mobile games content through Greystripe’s AdWRAP advertising network, a network that includes the likes of Yahoo!, eBay, Diet Coke, and New Line Cinema.
According to said agreement between Greystripe and Sega, they are launching these popular classic mobile games: Golden Axe, Afterburner II, and Sonic Jump. Afterburner II is a classic SEGA arcade favourite that has the gamer controlling a fighter jet while combating loads of supersonic enemy fighters. Sonic Jump, well it speaks for itself really, just go vertical with the friendly blue hedgehog. Finally, Golden Axe, well actually Golden Axe for mobile is free, and you still need to save the land of Yuria from the evil minions of Death Adder.

Michael Chang, CEO of Greystripe had this to say: “Our partnership with them [Sega] is a huge win for our end users and demonstrates that Greystripe is able to bring the biggest brands to the mobile gaming audience.”
While VP of Mobile at Sage, Linda Chaplin remarked: “Sega has selected to be a part of the Greystripe’s distribution network of sites as it opens up the category to a whole new market of consumers. The ‘free games’ proposition allows consumers to try mobile games without risk and we’re confident that our brands and commitment to quality will convince consumers to stay and continue gaming on their mobile phones.â€
AdWRAP tech from Greystripe allows advertisements to be wrapped within mobile games and apps without any complex codes and development for the content owner.

To begin with the packaging on the Explore 350 Bluetooth headset is much better than its flagship brother the Plantronics 510, even though it is simple in design. Its clear cover gives the customer a good clean view of the headset.
The design of the Plantronics Explorer 350 Bluetooth headset is the simple straight bar style with a small rounded ear loop, and the battery concealed within the body of the headset. The user gains a comfortable fit from the soft plastic ear loop while the actual shape of the ear loop cannot be changed. The earpiece is hard rubber which fits snugly allowing for better voice to ear audio. The mic is located near the bottom of the device and facing forward, although turning up and down the volume needs a little practice.

Performance wise the Plantronics Explorer 350 when it comes to voice clarity and volume is above average, and provides good treble for higher volume within noisy environments, although the bass could have been better implemented. As for connectivity and stability with the Plantronics Explorer 350, one would have to use the word excellent as it shares the same attributes as its predecessor the Explorer 510.

The Explorer 350 incorporates a battery with a longer lasting life than that of the 510 which give the user six days of standby time with eight hours talk-time, and takes approximately two hours to fully charge. Weight wise, the Explorer 350 is a comfortable 17 grams.

In finalising the Plantronics Explorer 250 Bluetooth headset, the sound and volume quality is good, as is the compatibility. The only slight down side is the earpiece tends to become a little uncomfortable if you have it too near your ear.

One of the most used areas of a mobile phone is its keypad and looking at the Nokia N78 it seems to have a somewhat strange looking numeric keypad, and it seems PhoneReport has spent some time with the Nokia N78 and have said with a somewhat lukewarm reassurance that “it isn’t as bad as it looks.”
There is a gap next the green call button which is set apart so the user doesn’t hit another key by mistake. The keypad itself simply needs getting used to while the keys are raised thus allowing your fingers to differentiate. The navigation wheel is also slightly rose which is perfect for scrolling. The Nokia N78 runs on Symbian OS9.3 with S60 v3.2 Feature Pack 2, which brings more email functionality whit superb transitions and animations that mean the user doesn’t have to wait for Touch UI.

The Nokia N78’s 3.2 megapixel camera animations are better, and comes with auto-focus and auto exposure with 20x digital zoom; while if the user holds the camera button it activates the app, however to change the landscape mode, the portrait display goes inside turns 90 degrees and shoots back out at full screen. There is also an improved messaging client, although the software built is a tad buggy.

One of the coolest looking features with the Nokia N78 has to be its keypad backlight, it’s an innovative design, which seems to hide the keys when the lights are not on making it resemble a super-slick handset, a small detail I know, but one that adds to the overall attraction of the Nokia N78.

Busy life, always on the go, constantly needing two mobile phones, one for business and one for personal; why continue to carry two separate mobile phones when now you can carry just the one with the WND Wind Duo 2000.
The WND Wind Duo 2000 is unlike your ordinary mobile phone, it is a revolutionary innovation that delivers synchronised solutions. How does it do this? Well you could say the Wind Duo 2000 isn’t just a single mobile phone but two mobile phones joined as one.
Other mobile phones offer different functionalities on either side of the handset, some offer dual SIM, but the Wind Duo 2000 offers two thin GSM candy-bar design mobile phones actually joined together back to back two make two phones in one and each with its own SIM. That’s two screens, two keyboards and two SIM cards, two separate functioning mobiles in one handy handset.

Spec wise the Wind Duo 2000 is tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900MHz, 1.5 inch OLED display on both sides, WAP 2.0, Java, MIDP 2.0, CLDC 1.1, 64 polyphonic MIDI and MP3 ringtones, Bluetooth 1.2, USB connectivity. The WND Wind Duo 2000 measures 97 x 48 x 17mm (pretty slim considering its two phones back to back) and weighs 100 grams.
So the draw with the WND Wind Duo 2000 mobile phone seems to be a simple one, its ideal for those people that require two mobiles but can now carry a single unit which acts as two phones. The idea seems to be a sound one, but I can’t help thinking that it will be somewhat annoying if you are speaking on one side of the Wind Duo 2000, and then you get a sudden ear thumping ringtone going off direct into your ear as you are talking from the other side.

This is the new Scuderia Bizzarrini P538 concept. It has its chassis from Galmer Arbitrage GT and it is powered by a mid-mounted Chevrolet LS7 V8. Scuderia Bizzarrini P538 has nice bodywork, looks a little like a combination of Lotus, Koenigsegg and Porsche Carrera GT but with its own unique flavor. More pictures after the break.
It looks similar to Apple’s iPod Nano.
